The double room I booked online included a great breakfast and a clean bathroom, with a shower and bath sheets as a nice bonus.

Nicely decorated and absolutely gorgeous place, I enjoyed good personnel.

By and large, it was great place for sightseeing in Monteverde, had much fun. The double room overlooked mountain. A bathtub in the clean bathroom was super awesome. It was close to cheese/ice cream factory, taxis and the Monteverde town square, lovely and wonderful location overall...

Decent and perfect location - short walk from View. Positioned in the idyllic area, right by restaurants and coffee shop, the Cloud forest, and Santa Elena. Good stay on our Costa Rican vacation, no reason to complain.

Casa Alquimia is a special, fairly large hotel in a beautiful-style building. The staff is friendly and good, and the room is comfy with a private bathroom and big windows. It's in a lovely location close to The Bat Jungle Zoo and within walking distance to a little market and a market across the street. It's the nicest place to stay when traveling to Monteverde.

Great natural lighting in the rooms with large windows. It's not too far from the rainforest and the town square. Plus, you can grab a nice cup of tea or coffee at the nearby Panaderia Jimenez. 🌳

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Alquimia. the lovely couple running the place went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They helped us with tours and travel bookings, and even served a delicious breakfast each morning. the location was perfect - tucked away in the countryside, but just a short stroll from two great restaurants, including a fantastic Argentinian spot. We especially enjoyed watching the beautiful sunset from the terrace. the homemade bread, fresh eggs, and brewed coffee added to our delightful experience. We felt like we were staying with family rather than at a hotel. Cons: Not one thing! 😊.

We had a fantastic weekend at this hotel! The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. The homemade breakfast was a delicious way to start our day. The location was perfect, with shops and restaurants nearby. We also loved the fact that there was a shared kitchen and living room for us to use.

The room was a bit small and lacked storage space, but it was still comfortable enough for a weekend stay. The hot water in the shower was minimal, so showers had to be quick.

We loved the unique, tree house-like property with sightings of toucans and bats. The hosts were welcoming and provided helpful recommendations. Enjoyed breakfast with other guests, which included homemade jam, fresh fruit, and eggs.

Felt like family, no complaints.
